Use this article to get familiar with the Perchwell Dashboard, understand what each widget shows, choose and arrange which widgets display, and launch integrations from the Dashboard.
What you do on the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the Perchwell page that brings market activity together with your contacts, saved searches, tags, and listings in one view, so you see what has changed. Click Dashboard in the top navigation bar, near the upper left, to open the Dashboard from anywhere in Perchwell.
What each Dashboard widget shows
Each Dashboard widget displays a specific type of information. Together they give you a quick view across several areas of Perchwell.
Hot Sheets widget on the Dashboard
The Hot Sheets widget on the Dashboard tracks new and updated listing activity from current MLS data and updates automatically, which means you do not have to rerun a search to see it. There are two types of Hot Sheets:
A saved search hot sheet monitors activity within one Saved Search, such as one you saved for a client, a city, or another set of criteria
A quick hot sheet monitors activity across the MLS by property type and status
Add a Hot Sheet to the Dashboard walks through creating both types step by step. For how many Hot Sheets fit on a Dashboard, how far back a timeframe reaches, and what off-market covers, see Dashboard FAQ.
Contacts widget on the Dashboard
The Contacts widget on the Dashboard lists the people you have added to Perchwell, and clicking a name opens their Contact Detail Page in a new tab. Sort the Contacts widget by Name or Recently Created.
Learn how to add, import, and group contacts in Create and Manage Your Contacts in Perchwell.
Saved Searches widget on the Dashboard
The Saved Searches widget on the Dashboard lists your Saved Searches, and clicking one runs that search in the same tab. Click your browser's back button to return to the Dashboard. Sort the Saved Searches widget by Name or Recently Updated.
Manage Your Saved Searches covers renaming, editing, and deleting a Saved Search, and setting up its email alerts.
Tags widget on the Dashboard
The Tags widget on the Dashboard lists your Tags, the folders of listings you organize, track for status and price updates, and share with clients. Clicking a tag opens the Tag page in a new tab. Sort the Tags widget by Name or # of Properties.
Members who came from a legacy platform may know Tags as listing carts. New Terminology maps the other legacy names to their Perchwell equivalents.
For creating a Tag, sharing one with a client, and setting its alerts, see Tags Page Overview.
Listings widget on the Dashboard
The Listings widget on the Dashboard shows listings from your own up to every listing in the MLS. Click a listing to open its Listing Detail Page in a new tab.
When the Listings widget is set to My Listings, click the pencil icon next to a listing to open it in Add/Edit. If your MLS connects ShowingTime, a ShowingTime icon appears next to the pencil icon. Click it to open ShowingTime for that listing and manage showing details, including availability, access instructions, appointment requests, and feedback.
When the Listings widget is set to MLS Listings, Brokerage Listings, or Office Listings, a tag icon appears instead. Click the tag icon to add the listing to a Tag.
Listings Widget Overview covers choosing whose listings you see, the listing type filters, and the quick actions available on each listing.
Note: The Listings widget cannot be removed from the Dashboard or moved out of its position.
Choose and arrange your Dashboard widgets
Choose and arrange your Dashboard widgets from Manage widgets, in the top right corner of the Dashboard. Click Manage widgets to pick which widgets display, then drag a widget into the position you want.
Customize Your Dashboard covers adding, removing, and reordering widgets, and the filter that narrows what an individual widget displays.
Launch integrations from the Dashboard
Launch an integration from the Integrations panel, which sits on the right side of the Dashboard and holds the tools and pages your MLS connects to Perchwell.
Steps:
Hover over the right side of the Dashboard to reveal the Integrations panel
Click an integration name
The integration opens outside Perchwell, so the Dashboard stays as you left it.
The Integrations panel lists only the integrations your MLS has enabled for your account, which means the panel is the accurate list of what you have. Commonly connected integrations include:
ShowingTime: schedule and manage property showings
SentriLock: manage secure lockbox access
RPR: open Realtors Property Resource reports and property data
ShowingTime also opens from the Listings widget, on listings that belong to you.
Your MLS may connect others, such as tools for public records and tax data, market analytics, or an MLS announcement page.
Note: An integration may require an active account with that provider and a separate sign-in.
For the integrations your own MLS offers and what each one does, see Integration Tools on the Dashboard.
Things to Know
The Dashboard and Hot Sheets are not available in the Perchwell mobile app. Both open on desktop only
