Filter Your Search by Status and Price Changes

Filter by status, price drop, or price increase with Status & Activity, set a rolling window or date range, and turn on alerts.

Use this article to find listings by their current status, a status they had during a set time, or recent price changes with the Status & Activity filters.

Filter by current listing status

Filter listings currently in Coming soon, Active, Active under contract, or Pending under Status & Activity.

Steps:

  1. Click Filters in the upper right of the Search page

  2. Select one or more statuses under Status & Activity

Your search results update to show listings in the selected statuses. Now appears next to each one, which means the search matches the listing's current status. Only these four statuses offer Now.

Find listings that were in any status during a set time

Set a date window on any status to find listings that were in that status during the selected time. Your results can include listings that have since changed status.

Click the button next to a status under Status & Activity to set its date window. Closed, Leased, Expired, Canceled, Temp off mkt, and Withdrawn always use a date window and default to 180 days when selected.

For example, set Pending to a 30-day rolling window to find listings that were pending within the last 30 days, including any that have since closed.

Find listings with a recent price drop or price increase

Select Price drop or Price increase under Activity in Status & Activity to find listings with a price change. Both default to a 30-day window, so the search covers the last 30 days.

Combine a price change with a status to narrow your results. For example, select Active and Price drop. Your results show listings that are currently Active and had a price drop within the last 30 days.

Change the date window for a status or price change

Click the button next to a status or price change under Status & Activity to change its date window. The button shows Now, a number of days, or the selected dates.

Set a rolling window

A rolling window counts back a set number of days from today and moves forward each day. The date window opens on the Rolling window tab.

Steps:

  1. Enter the number of days in the Days ago field under Window start

  2. (Optional) Enter the number of days in the Days ago field under Window end to stop before today

  3. Click Submit

Your search results update to the new window. Window end defaults to 0, which includes today. Click 30, 60, 180, or 365 days to set Window start to that number of days ago.

Select a date range

A date range covers fixed dates on the calendar and does not move forward each day.

Steps:

  1. Click the Date range tab

  2. Click a date on the calendar

  3. (Optional) Click a later date to select a date range

  4. Click Submit

Your search results update to the selected date or date range. Click 30, 60, or 180 days to select a range ending today.

Set a reporting period

A reporting period starts on a fixed date and runs through today, such as month-to-date or year-to-date.

Steps:

  1. Click the Reporting period tab

  2. Click the calendar icon in the date field

  3. (Optional) Click the month name above the calendar to choose a different month or year

  4. Click the start date on the calendar

  5. Click Submit

Your search results update to show that status or price change from the selected start date through today. Click 30, 60, 180, or 365 days to start the period that number of days before today.

Get alerts for status changes, price changes, and open houses

Save your search and turn on its alerts. Alerts send an email when a matching listing changes status, changes price, or adds an open house. Select Status, Price, or Open House in the saved search's alert settings to choose which changes send an alert.

Set Up Email Alerts for Saved Searches explains how to turn on alerts, choose recipients, and set the frequency.

Members who came from a legacy platform may know these alerts as drip campaigns.
