Perchwell Transfer Guide: Searches, Contacts & More

Quick reference to help you locate transferred searches, contacts, and key data from your legacy MLS.

Data Migration Questions

Will my contacts be saved in Perchwell?

Yes. Contacts from your legacy MLS system will automatically be imported into Perchwell during your onboarding.
Only contacts with a valid first name, last name, and email address will be included in the import to ensure data accuracy and platform compatibility.

Will my saved searches transfer to Perchwell?


Yes. Perchwell will import the vast majority of saved searches from your legacy MLS system.
While most searches will transfer seamlessly, certain complex parameters or property types may not have exact equivalents between systems. In these cases, Perchwell applies equivalent or broader criteria to best preserve your search intent.

Will my carts transfer to Perchwell?


Perchwell uses a different system called Tags in place of carts. Tags will not automatically populate based on your previous carts during the transition. You can easily recreate similar groupings using the tagging feature once you are in Perchwell.

Will I be able to see any of the previous emails and reports I’ve shared with clients?


No. Previously shared emails and reports from your legacy system will not be visible in Perchwell.

What happens to my saved clients?


Your imported contacts will appear in Perchwell, but they will not have access to the platform by default. To grant access, you’ll need to invite them directly from within Perchwell.

Will my auto emails transfer to Perchwell?


No. Auto emails will not transfer automatically to Perchwell.

Will I need to reset my password the first time I log in?


No. Perchwell uses REcore Single Sign-On (SSO), so a password reset is not required for your initial login.

Are there any other items that will not transfer automatically?


Yes. Certain items — such as exports, reports, and some other personalized data — will not automatically transfer to Perchwell.

What about members with an IDX website?


There will be no disruption to your IDX website. IDX services remain managed by CRMLS and will continue operating as usual.
